Dan is the vice captain of the school senior hurling team. He was on the Dublin Celtic Challenge team last year, who were runners up in one of the finals. He spent some time on the Dublin Colleges hurling team and he currently on the Ballyboden minor team.

Conor O’Donoghue was a member of the Dublin minor hurling team, who were narrowly defeated in the semi-final a few years ago. He was the captain of the school hurling team and has excelled in free-taking and penalty taking for both the school and the Dublin team. He has been a key member of the dublin squad for the last couple of years and is currently on the Ballyboden senior hurling panel.
