Senior Cycle
At Senior Level, students build on the 4 skills and expand their vocabulary and grammar knowledge. Temas (themes) are studied such as technology in the modern world (social media – facebook, cyberbullying), the environment (global warming and the green house effect), health (healthy diets, abuse of alcohol and drugs) and social issues (homelessness, unemployment, discrimination). Learners are expected to write essays, formal and informal letters, diary entries and notes.
