Caring for our Children

If a child is to keep his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement and mystery of the world we live in.

What to do when you have a problem that you can't solve alone?

Our young people face many challenges on their journey to becoming adults, we can help them with many of these but sometimes we need a hand. Fortunately there are a wide range of support services available in our area for both parents and young people.

Empowering Parents

St Colmcille's CS school is more than simply an organisation for young people, it is also a focal point for parents in the community. We believe that being a parent is one of the most important jobs there is, but also that it can be one of the most challenging. To help empower parents to be the best that they can be, the school has organised a series of talks that cover a wide range of the issues that parents encounter as their children become young adults.

There will be 6 talks between 11th Sept and 25th Nov 2014.
The total cost for all 6 talks is €30 and the Parent's Association can offer financial support if necessary.
