Business Studies
Senior Cycle

'Business' is a business studies option within the Leaving Certificate programme. It is concerned with the understanding of the environment in which business operates in Ireland and in the wider world. It also involves equipping students with a positive view of enterprise and its applications in the business environment, in both the public and private sectors.

Leaving Certificate Business is a very popular subject and is very factual. If you've done Business Studies at Junior Certificate, this would help but it is not a requirement. Studying Leaving Certificate Business would be very useful for careers in Management, Accountancy, Finance, or if you would like to become an Entrepreneur & work for yourself!
