Rachel Dunne wins the DCU Business Studies Award

The Business Studies department in St Colmcilles is once again celebrating a wonderful year where one of our students has excelled in the 2014 Junior Certificate exams.

Well done to Rachel Dunne who received a Business Studies Award from DCU.  This award is given to the top 50 performers in the Junior Certificate Business Studies exam each year.  Rachel attended the awards ceremony in DCU in January with her parents, Mr. McKennedy and her Business Studies teacher Ms McDonnell.

Student Enterprise Awards

Every year some of our business students participate in the Student Enterprise Awards.   To enter into this competition students must set up and run their own mini business.  Shauna & Anna were the 2014 School winners who represented St Colmcille's Community School at the South Dublin final.
